Pickit processor 3.0-a
The Pickit processor 3.0-a is a light and compact unit that fits in a 1U rack mount. Its 12V DC-in power supply is a separate adapter, so it can be optionally mounted on an Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV).
Processor ports
The front side of the processor has:
1x power switch. Press once to turn on, press once again to turn off.
1x audio jack for a remote power switch.
2x LED indicators (power and HDD).
The back side of the processor has:
3x RJ-45 ports labeled “Your_PC”, “Robot”, and “LAN”. This article gives the description on how to configure the network settings of your Pickit system.
4x USB ports that can be used to connect Pickit cameras.
1x lock type DC power jack port.
Power input and installation
Apart from the provided power supply, the processor is also compatible with the following options:
DIN-Rail power supplies such as this one, for convenient mounting in control panels or electrical cabinets.
Direct 12V DC input, so it can be mounted on an Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV).
The processor comes with two sets of brackets offering the possibility to installing it on a wall (below left) or mount it in a rack (1U high, below right). The necessary screws are also included.
The power supply connects to the “DC IN” port on the back side of the processor.
Note
In case of a power failure while the processor is on, it will restart automatically when power is restored. Pickit will start with robot mode enabled, that is, ready to receive robot commands.
